Actually, I'd use powered speakers. I'm doing that in my "library" quite 
well.

Assuming you are using compressed files and a decent wireless setup, it 
is four times the bandwidth, but its well within what a 11g setup can 
do. I would not try this with 11b. And if bandwidth is a worry, you can 
drag CAT6. Its easier and more reliable than dragging two speaker cables.

I generally don't think of whole house audio as being of concern to 
audiophiles. I have one audiophile main system (Transporter, etc.) and 
secondary systems for more casual listening.
