You can experiment a little if your Krell has Pre Out/Main In. Then you can run the TP into Main In and then only use its poweramp section. It also depends on your speakers, I think that if you have Martin Logan the McIntosh would be a terrific match, along with the TP. You will find lots of threads here about running the TP straight into a poweramp, almost everybody report a gain in fidelity bypassing the preamp. You need a very very good preamp otherwise....
