Im not sure if you were being sarcastic, but I second your 'opinion'. Havent heard anything digital (no matter how cheap or expensive)that comes close to good Analog. Analog still remains the benchmark for most "audiophiles" but also for the majority of companies that produce 'high end' digital front-ends, just read any comment or review.... And for sure the Duet with all its abilities is far in the top digital list. Unless you have the 400 dollar duet connected to much more expensive psu, clock and dac, you are not going to get into whatever you guys want to call 'audiophile' territory, or lets call it the realm of very hi-fidelity music reproduction.
