I agree that the Duet and DAC route is much more flexible. The Squeezebox technology seems to be moving faster than that in the rest of the audio industry. A £100 box is something I don't mind swapping out from time to time. A Transporter would be another issue and I'd potentially be buying in to a technology that could become quickly outdated.
