That is not relevant. The point being made here is that some signal distortions that measure badly do not significantly affect the perceived sound, so high magnitudes are not important. It's my personal opinion that a poor DAC can adversely affect my listening pleasure far more than a "bumpy" loudspeaker frequency response.
