I have a question, and I wonder whether it's jitter related : I feed an external dac (the Denon 3808's one, for instance) through an optical output of my laptop. The Denon's dac upsamples to 192, as usual.
When I upsample at the source (the laptop's audio card) the sound is slightly different (in that case, the Denon is fed with a 192 signal and does not upsample).
