I've had one for a year now and have no complaints. It sounds quite a bit better than the standard SB3 analogue outputs.
The DAC performs better with a PSU with some grunt behind it (well more than the supplied one) - you can get these from Maplin for around £20.00 . The DAC also sounds better IMHO when the PSU is set to 13.5vdc . For what Stan charges you get one hell of a lot of VFM.
