Hi,

I just bought a new system with the Transporter plugged directly into
the power amplifier and I can only highly encourage you to do the same.
Having a high-end system, the result is simply superb! The shortest is
the signal path, the better is the sound quality. Furthermore you'll
save the extra amount of money for the pre-amplifier (which generally
costs more than the power amplifier itself).

My advise: do not hesitate one second and skip the pre-amplifier.
However, you just have to be careful with the sensitivity matching
between the transporter and the amplifier which may require some passive
attenuation (use the built-in jumpers of the Transporter if you use RCA
cables, external attenuators if XLR).

Good luck. Ligald
