Yes I get that - hence my earlier comments about Telarc cannons,
dynamic headroom and 200w being preferable to 20w in all cases...

I think that I was too focussed on the idea of "clipping" as in bad
distortion, rather than than compression of transients and inability to
reproduce realistic dynamics...
