I think that I was too focussed on the idea of "clipping" as in bad distortion, rather than than compression of transients and inability to reproduce realistic dynamics... -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
