I just tried the bypass the volume control option. I would have to agree! The sound is in fact better. I would call it more of an effortless sound quality as apposed to the volume control being in the loop. I am surprised! - I guess all those that say a volume at %100 is no different than one that is out of the circuit is not quite right!
