Hi John,

About the ADM differences, the tryals with Phil explain to me that are
due to the cloks drifting between the DA converten of SB nd the AD
converter of USB soundcard, I could 'lock' in his system and reported
that tis eiminated any differences.

The point is that in 'real life' playback you could not lock the
clock!

Anyway, could you please report wich differences in sound you heard
(maybe you already did, but i can't find...sorry).

I resume mime, are yours any silimar?

a) Stereo Image:

Playng the Wave file, the scene is more focused and deeper, but
smaller, means that if you play i.e. "Old Love" from Eric Clapton
Umplugged album, mr. Clapton seems to be 10 cm shorter, the bass is
behind and not on top of the voice, the piano asolo is not so far in the
left.

b)Sound 'color':

Playng Flac, voices, arcs and cimbals are a little bit 'harder' and
cold, some 'electric' take place, in wave they are smoorher, some more
air around and more 'natural'. No big differences in bass, maybe a bit
more control in wave.

Intresting to know.

thanks.

Marco.
