Just to stress - simple UPSs put out square waves - for good sound you
need one that puts out sine waves. 

In addition not all of them give clean power - some just basically
transfer the noise along to whatever is plugged into them.

It's a confusing area. I suggest you look for units made for higher end
electronics, not just for PCs.
