I submitted this as a bug and got a simple response that "This is not a bug with the bug tracking system, so I'm changing the 'product'". http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15981 I am not sure what that means. I wrote back to ask whether they consider this a "feature" or not but have no response so far.
