No they don't. They simply subsitute something else for the clipping - something they invented. They have NO idea what the signal is supposed to look like in the clipped region. This DVD-A sounds fine to me. I have 5 different versions of this album and I prefer the DVD-A to all of them. ymmv -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
