What many fail to recognize , is that the many treads articles post etc claiming this is WAV>FLAC is never backed up by real fact's .
it could be but who knows ? even if 1000000 Audiophiles claims this, in so many beautiful words in some fora, it does not prove a thing the information content is = 0 or even less as flac vs wav is tested to death in non squeezebox contexts, you do it yourself if you are using the -V parameter when encoding. it tells me that's something interesting is going on. But interesting to whom. An audio engineer ? A phd in psychology and behavioral science etc, for an interesting case study in audiophile delusions ? A philosopher as audiophilia is rapidly turning in to a cargo cult religion , worshiping pseudo technology ? (it once was a respectable hobby). Hopefully some one with an working ADM installation can test it in the squeezebox context. and make the Seinfeld tread a sticky.
