I've tried it and I hear the hi rez sounding different. Of course, that
is completely irrelevant because I WANT to hear those differences,
right? You, on the other hand, may have an altogether different agenda
and you may be wishing real hard that you don't hear any difference
therein.

So what does this entire charade prove? Nothing at all.
