Same here. In fact I have the displays switched off and never use them,
either. It strikes me that when the stock of VFDs drys up, a
stripped-down TP without knob or displays would be a worthwhile product
- sort of like an audiophile equivalent of the Receiver. But I guess
maybe there might be other parts on the motherboard which are also
approaching EOL.

On another tack, my view is that if Logitech do have a stock of VFDs,
they really ought to be keeping them as spare parts for the SB2/3, not
building more TPs.
