With the Beatles remasters I got some nice original album art with
inserts etc. Brought back some nice "album" vibes, now that I no longer
have the albums. Thats worth something to me. I dont expect the same
quality presentation with a download, that would be unrealistic. I
havent spent much time looking at the pdf that comes with my downloads.
That goes with the territory, but that is not "value added" for the
customer. I could just as easily google search the album while I'm
playing it and enjoy much more content than the pdf provides with the
download. 

What I also like is how John Mellencamp on "Life Death, Love and
Freedom" included a 24/96 DVD audio disk along with the redbook
version. I didnt pay $29 for it either! More like $13. That is also an
option for music companies if they want to give someone something more
tangible, therefor potentially avoiding backlash expressed through
illegal downloads.
