I absolutely agree - the enjoyment of music is a cerebral experience. However, we're conflating two separate phenomena here, ie. a change to a music reproduction system vs. a change in the enjoyment of music reproduced through that system. The effect of the former can be measured. The latter is subjective and influenced by many factors other than any changes to the reproduction system.
