Try as I might, I was never able to spot the ever elusive unicorn some audiophiles call 'blacker blacks'. Although the audiophile press and brochureware abound with such terms, I'm at a loss as to what the hell does that mean?
Can someone enlighten me? How would I go about detecting 'blacker blacks' on a good audio system?
