For whatever reason, the analog meters on the Touch seem very unresponsive and stiff. The analog meters on the SB3 seemed very responsive, so much so they seemed very realistic and not just a screen saver.
I suspect it is a hardware limitation and they don't want to eat up all of the CPU making a screen saver responsive and cause audio dropouts.
