Foobar (which I use a lot but not as a player...) can indeed drive the
USB ports cleanly. Sadly it lacks a lot of features as a player (for
me). However, if there was a Foobar plugin that talked to SBS...

I'd need musicIP support and (more importantly) Inguz convolver
integration or an Inguz convolver substitute. 
For me this is not urgent because the Touch spdif is very good
IMO...but I would like alternatives.


If only Squeezeplay could be made to support a proper set of sample
rates... actually if it could only be persuaded to do 24/96 I'd be
happy!

I'd then use Squeezeplay (on a Netbook) to drive a V-link (+V-PSU) into
my M1
