I quite agree and I also find it fascinating. Idioms and idiomatic expressions are the spices of any language. The Queen's English and all its various permutations are all called "English" whereas many other languages with similar dialects are each known by different name. For example many of the Slavic tongues. I think that are bigger differences between Cockney accent and a Southern American accent than between some languages. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=85319 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
