Darren / Phil, Completely agree with you both ! I've finally "gone active" after a lot of thought & time, but the immediately noticeable difference in clarity & quality of sound when changing from passive was truly astonishing. It's a shame that more people don't realise the benefits, but of course the upgrade-path & therefore business model for dealers soon disappears....
