Sounds like a difficult problem, but just a note about a scare I had on the weekend. . .
I had my Boom playing on the deck, and went inside and turned on the TP, which is normally synced to the Boom. Nothing. No sound, nothing. Turned on, turned off, etc etc. Got panicked, until I realized that the audio on the TP had been turned down, as had the volume on the stereo. The little bit that was coming through was drowned out by the sound from the Boom leaking through the door to the deck. All is now well.
