most effective use of $ may be speakers, the menuet looks like a fine high quality speaker, but it is small . if you want real bass in your life :P There is simply a whole octave missing no cables or dac can fix that ever no matter what they cost. A well integrated subwoofer ?
But then again acoustic circumstances can make a bigger speaker underperform :-/ . Integrating a subwoofer can be thorny too . Just don't feed the snake oil industry with $ .
