You may have seen my other posts about me currently having a Rega Dac (£498) on home trial.
My dilema is this, I'm using different friends to do some a/b comparisons and so far they noticed differences with the track played using the onboard and external dacs. However, would it be more beneficial to purchase the silent Shuttle sff PC to run the server software with Soundcheck 3.0 mods ? I could then either purchase a cheaper DAC Matrix Mini I or a 2nd hand Arcam RDAC.
