Once again, compliments on having golden ears and many thanks for
working so hard for the benefit of the community. Nothing short of
amazing started coming out of my Maggies after I've applied your latest
mods, rebooted the Touch, and then did a final tt -k.
Folks, this is now so much more music we can get out of the tired old
familiar material. I was listening to Eric Burdon Declares War
("Tobacco Road"), and was completely blown away by the musicality and
the level of intricate detail. Then I switched to Dire Straits "Water
Of Love", and what used to sound like a scratchy metallic slide Dobro
guitar in the left channel is now full bodied warm musical instrument
that heaves and breathes fire:) So much warmth, silkiness, and
roundedness makes for an incredibly non-fatiguing listening pleasure. I
had no idea that it was possible to get such warm, pleasing sound out of
a digital source. This is so good, it's not even funny.
Ima invite some audio nutcase friends over tomorrow, and I'm planning
to totally blow them out of the water. Once they hear these latest
mods, they won't know what hit them (sinister laughter;)
