I have never recommended anyone "go wireless" for sound quality
reasons. What I have said is that people should use whatever
works/sounds best for them.

I have never recommended anyone "go TOSLINK" - what I have said (many,
many times) is that in some systems it works better than coax and in
others it doesn't so it is important to try both.
