People claim that sighted tests are useless. I disagree. Here is why:

Suppose a man, who is an eligible bachelor, gets presented with two
young single women -- one drop dead gorgeous looking, another
horrendously ugly looking. You probably won't have tough time guessing
which of the two would that guy choose to have sex with (this being a
'sighted' test).

But turn the lights off, and do you think the guy would be able to
discern whether the woman he had sex with in total darkness is a good
looking or an ugly looking one? I don't think so.

Still, despite the fact that this man comes to the realization that in
total darkness both women are equally capable of fully satisfying his
sexual appetite, 100 times out of 100 he'll still go for the good
looking one.

So you see, sighted tests are meaningful and they do mean a lot to us.
They make sense. Don't fight it...
