No I don't have any way to record it unfortunately. I'm going to try and make time to run LMS from my laptop and we'll at least hopefully isolate this a little further.
I'm still wondering whether this old IBM that I use solely for running LMS is causing the problems somehow. I mean, if this was a router problem surely mysqueezebox.com would be problematic too?
