What is the conclusion so far? There may be DACs that are so dependant on the incoming datastream beeing perfect that you may hear differences between settings in the SBT? Even with your eyes closed?
Few DACs that incorporate the near impossible task of getting it perfect, it's hard labor and not for everyone to make it happen and no way your neighbour can buy it at the local store. It's a tough thought, that a SBT can be bought anywhere and is a gooooood digital source right out of the box. Go analog guys, lots of secrets for the audiophiles hidden in the vinyl grooves.
