I think the problem with Logitech (as with a lot of companies these days) is that they don't do repairs anymore, they don't even have employees with the skills for performing repairs. If an item shows a defect in the warranty period it is easier for them to just replace it. If you want a repair I think you have to take it to a local repair shop. But if they need some parts that were specially made for the Transporter you're out of luck. You can sent letters to Logitech all you want, but it will not help.
