Just a reminder to those unfamiliar with the Dunn J-Test. Remember that if you're looking at the 16/44 version like the graphs posted by tpaxadpom above from his AP2722, most of the peaks are the jitter modulation signal. Here is what an "ideal" 16/44 J-Test should look like: 14642
Of course the exact level of the modulation signal depends on the volume level the analogue signal is being recorded. It represents the -90.3dBFS (level of the LSB). +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Ideal_16-bit_JTest.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14642| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archimago's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2207 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97950 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
