I do have Meridian speakers but this is a part of complete digital home theater which is another beast, that they are the only provider off . This requires some controll of the speaker not only to send audio .
That's another missed opurtunity , it would be nice if there where a standardised "speaker bus" where not only audio could be sent but volume eq balance tone controll delays phase etc as information to be dealt with by the speakers themselfs.
