I'm still not sure how low one could/should go using the TP's digital volume. My new active speakers arrive in January. I keep thinking along these lines...set the active input sensitivity switch @4.8 Vrms (-10 dB), and use a Goldpoint stepped attenuator. John Marshall LMS 7.9 running on a DIY PC, Windows 7 64 bit, (1) Transporter, (4) Booms & (2) CSOS SqueezeliteWands. SqueezePad & iPeng for controllers.
