But the major objection with more scientific backing is that is should be 20 rather than 16. DR stuff with far more valid arguments behind it. I have read far more tests claiming we need 20 bits than we need 96kHz. It seems even Platinum Ears can't pretend to hear beyond 20/48 stuff.
