Details - I have 2 monitors: one positioned left and one positioned right. The
right monitor is the primary one.
In my rules.lua I have the following entry:
{ rule = { class = "Thunderbird" },
properties = { tag = tags[2][2] } },
This should always put Thunderbird on the second screen (i.e. not the primary
one) which is the left one.
This is what happens:
- New Thunderbird windows are _displayed_ on the second screen
- New Thunderbird windows are _allocated_ on the first screen
This means that the window and its content is on the second screen but it is
still logically on the first screen. The window is assigned to the right
monitor's task bar. Only after pressing Mod+o the window's task bar entry is
moved to the left monitor where it should have been from the start.
