That certainly wasn't the case in the latter part of the 19th century
as Denis McEoin's dissertation shows, but I think maybe they have
become friendlier since the Revolution, because like Baha'is Shaykhis
lost government jobs, etc.  Prof. Chelebi, a Shaykhi, has written a
great deal in defense of Baha'is.
