Doctors has just confirmed us that our sweet little niece KIRANA got infected by
a very dangerous virus called Cytomegalo virus (CMV). Her blood test (TORC)
indicates 1:100 which is very high according to the doctor, not to mention
that our Kirana is just 3 months old (14 weeks).
She got infected when she was still in her mom's womb and now the virus is
actively destroying her body. The impact of this active virus are varies, and
most of the time will attact her at once: the first indication we can see from
her is that there are white spots all over her body, continuos diarhea followed
by stomache (cholic)--I can't stand to see her face that full of pain),
decreasing hearing ability, painful joints, etc. Further possible damage is
mentally retarded or brain damage.
Last Wednesday Kirana was having a citiscan to find out whether the virus
already attacking her brain or not because if this happen, the virus will
block the fluid in the brain and make it swallow. And this need a major surgery
which cost millions and very risky too..
Last night we had to rushed Kirana to emergency room because she has a very
weak pulse and difficult breathing. Now she is at RSCM hospital and still has
diarhea. Let's hope that the virus hasn't got into her brain at all, but we
still have to get rid of the virus. doctor said that there is an anti virus that
can be given to her via 14 days transfusion but it can only guarantee 75%
healing. And the cost is very expensive for us too: Rp.750.000,- per vial
(dossage) means 14 x 750.000,- = 10.500.000,- only for the anti virus, excluding
the hospitalization, doctors, etc. therefore we really need alternatives. One
of the literature said that herbs are one of them. We heard someone in Bogor has
succeed in finding the herbs to heal Toxoplasm but we don't really know how to
find him. That is why I need your help. If you by coincidence have any
information, I mean anything, about the virus, the antidote or person who can
help her to get better, I will appreciate it so much. Maybe you can ask friends
of yours, or anyone..please do.
I can't just sit and wait our little Kirana get worsed and weakened
everyday..Please pray with us!

Para dokter di RSCM baru saja menkonfirmasikan bahwa keponakan kecil saya
yang manis KIRANA terkena virus mematikan bernama CYTOMEGALO VIRUS (CMV). Hasil
test darahnya (TORC) menunjukkan 1:100 dan menurut dokter terlalu tinggi apalagi
untuk bayi seusia Kirana yang baru 3 bulan saja (14 minggu) umurnya.
Dia mendapatkan virus itu dari makanan yang dimakan ibunya saat mengandung
Kirana dan saat ini virus tersebut sedang aktif menghancurkan daya tahan
tubuh mungilnya.
Akibat dari aktifitas virus ini bermacam macam, namun ciri awalnya terlihat
sekaligus: bintik kemerahan di setiap lipatan kulitnya yang kemudian
menjadi bintik bintik putih yang menyebar hampir di seluruh permukaan kulit
tubuhnya, diare yang tidak berhenti berhenti, mengeluarkan darah dan lendir
disertai kejang perut yang sangat menyakitkan (aku tidak tahan setiap kali
melihat wajahnya yang kesakitan dan rintihannya), daya pendengarannya yang dari
hari ke hari semakin berkurang, nyeri pada sendi sendi tubuhnya, dll. Akibat
terparah dari virus ini adalah kemunduran intelegensi dan kerusakan otak.
Hari ini Kirana sedang menjalani tes rekam otak untuk mengetahui apakah
virus ini sudah menyerang otaknya. Karena jika iya, berarti akan terjadi
pengapuran yang menyebabkan tersumbatnya cairan dari otak ke tubuh, diikuti
dengan membengkaknya otak dan kepala yang membesar secara terus menerus. Jika
ini terjadi (Ya Allah, semoga tidak!) maka diperlukan operasi besar beresiko
tinggi dengan biaya yang juga sangat mahal.
Kemarin malam kami terpaksa membawanya ke ruang gawat darurat RSCM untuk
penanganan pertama diare karena kondisi tubuhnya yang melemah, denyut nadi
melemah, dan feces yang terdiri dari darah dan lendir serta nafas yang
sulit. Berdoalah bagi Kirana agar hasil test otaknya negatif. Tapi, kalaupun
virusnya belum sampai ke otak, tetap saja harus dihilangkan. Sebetulnya dokter
bilang ada anti virus yang bisa dimasukkan ke tubuh mungil Kirana melalui infus
yang harus disuntikkan selama 14 hari berturut turut tapi harganya juga tidak
main main. 750 ribu untuk 1 dosis sedang dia butuh 14 kali lipat sehingga anti
virusnya saja sudah sekitar 10 juta rupiah, belum termasuk biaya rumah sakit,
dokter, labolatorium, dll.
Kami bukan keluarga kaya. Kedua orangtua Kirana bekerja keras setiap hari
untuk memenuhi kebutuhan Kirana. Seluruh keluarga sudah berusaha urunan tapi
tetap saja uangnya tidak cukup sementara virusnya semakin hari semakin hebat
menyerangnya. Itu sebabnya kami membutuhkan alternatif. Katanya ada orang
di Bogor yang menemukan ramu ramuan tradisional untuk menghilangkan virus ini.
Jadi jika teman-teman punya informasi, APAPUN baik mengenai virusnya,
literaturnya, penanganannya, pengobatannya, orang yang bisa menolong
Kirana, APAPUN, akan sangat membantu kami sekeluarga. Berhubung kami cuma punya
sedikit sekali informasi mengenai virus ini dan penanganannya. Cacat fisiknya,
mungkin dengan berat hati masih bisa kami terima, tapi kemungkinan cacat
mentalnya, sangat melemahkan hati kami. Sementara sebetulnya, jika saja virus
itu segera dihilangkan, semua kemungkinan terburuk dapat dihindari. Jika
sekiranya mungkin ada teman yang bisa membantu tapi belum ada di mailing list di
atas, bantulah saya untuk mem-forward pesan ini.
Tubuh Kirana semakin lemah setiap harinya, pendengarannya semakin lemah,
otot otot tubuhnya semakin lemah, rasanya tidak tahan untuk hanya berdiam diri
dan melihatnya bertambah parah setiap hari.
