Now that the Mixed Tour is finished, you are invited to the last UKUA Tournament of the season.

Mixed Nationals will take place at the University of York in York on the 17/18 Sep.

Cost = £150 per team. Cheques to be made payable to I. Ford and sent to:

Isla Ford
173 Thief Lane
York
YO10 3HX

The CLOSING DATE = Friday, SEPTEMBER 2nd. After this there will be late payment fees.

For this you get...

8 high quality fields, fully marked out.
Use of a pavillion
Hot Showers (I am assured)
Food on site
Sat night party
Medical assistance
all the usual trimmings of a top event...

...and possibly a bit more!

York is 4 hours from Edinburgh and 4 hours from Portsmouth, so pretty much dead centre of the country. It is also on the main East coast train line, and trains from London can be booked at only £30 at the moment (not including any discounts; takes only 2 hours).

Accommodation:
The University has recently done a U-turn on allowing camping and has said No to camping on site. We are therefore searching for other camping solutions nearby. We have however, negotiated 100 single self catering rooms available at only £8 per night. Which when campsites are charging £12 a tent, seems pretty reasonable to us. There are also loads of guest houses and B&Bs and a list will be sent out separately.

To book accommodation please email me with exact numbers of rooms required by the end of this week so I get an idea of how many rooms are required.

We will keep searching for a free camping option, but be aware that we may not be able to offer one.

This is the first time this venue has been used for a big event and we are keen to make it as good an advert for our sport as possible. As such we intend to make it a great tournament. This is your last chance to play competitive Ultimate this year and soon afterwards you will be driven back indoors, just waiting for outdoor tournaments to start again. Lets make sure we end the season with a great event.

Any questions, please call Dave on 01904 410142 or 07773 788 671. Expressions of interest would be useful as well, so we know early how many teams to expect.

Cheers,

Dave Grayson.
