To BritDisc
To clarify an issue raised by Paul Holden I thought I would resend my previous
e-mail with just the sections relevant to the Fire of London trials ...
These are then followed by selection trials in mid-March for those players that
wish to try out to play for Fire of London. The details of these sessions are
below.

If you would like to attend any of these sessions please reply to this e-mail
address ([email protected]) with the sessions you would like to
attend.

SELECTION TRIALS: 14th March and 21st March

For those players interested in trying out for Fire of London for the 2009
season, we are holding 2 days of selection trials. These trials will be
structured around games that will help us to identify the qualities we are
looking for:
* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
* Potential for improvement
* Athleticism
* Commitment

The qualities we are looking for are not related to gender, age or Ultimate
playing experience etc. The important qualities are those which will enable a
player to DEVELOP, with the help of Fire of London coaches and players, into
someone who can play Ultimate to the best of their abilities at a high level of
play. Developing players is crucial to any team and especially so for Fire of
London in the 18 months building up to the World Club Championships in 2010.

I am sorry if there was any confusion caused the first time this e-mail was
sent.
