Hello all,

After an exciting first season which peaked with a 7th place finish at Tour 2,
the Tooting Tigers are looking to recruit early for the 2010 season.

We'll be running 2 tryout games on the 3rd and 10th of October to pit newcomers
against the current squad in an attempt to settle the roster early and allow
the team to gel, grow and ultimately succeed in 2010. After these initial
sessions we will be training weekly throughout the winter in Tooting Bec, South
West London.

The sessions will both start at 11am with a fairly stern warmup that will
hopefully put you through your paces; be ready to be tired come game time!
We'll then split into two teams, predetermined to ensure an even match, and
play a full game to 15.  Following this full game, we'll run shorter games
(5-pulls) or some mini, followed by a warmdown and then head to the Bedford for
a couple of non-alcoholic, low-carb, 0% fat drinks. Or a beer.

If you'd like to be considered for these games please get in touch with us as
soon as possible so we can gauge numbers and ability. We'll be chiefly looking
for:

1. On field intelligence.
2. Teamwork.
3. Disc skills.
4. Physical ability.
5. Communication.
6. General organisational qualities (such as punctuality).

We hope to see how trialists play in a natural, unstructured game so we can
assess their attributes including disc skills, fitness and intelligence without
running drills that will be unfamiliar to many trialists.  This will give you
the opportunity to show us what you can offer to Tooting Tigers in a known
environment, rather than introducing you to new concepts on our first sight of
you.

Please let us know if you are going to come along so we can plan ahead.  If you
have any queries or comments, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks
