Currently, my dig-plan comrades and I are on tour across the continental USA and parts of Canada on the second leg of our reunion tour. As you may know the first leg of our reunion tour started in Europe where our European brothas and sistas came out in droves to see butterfly, ladybug, doodlebug and dj. nex millen.( Nuff respect to all who showed love in Europe). On this second leg we are lucky enough to be traveling with some great musicians and a dj. On the keyboards we have legendary keyboardist/composer Brian Jackson of Gil-Scott Heron fame, on drums Richard Williams, on bass Lawrence(bubba)Sims and our dee jay is fat beats(la) store manager dj.jedi. The crew also consists nkosi gray(tour manager),ruben mahboobi(asst.tour manager), leith"indian black" states(cfo member and merchandise manager), gnomia gre(cfo member and merchandise asst.)and our bus driver otis(smile)... GOOD NEWS FOR DIGABLE FANS; during our rehearsals for the tour we came up with some hot new grooves that may make it to the highly anticipated digable planets reunion lp. In the meantime, in between time, ladybugs solo effort is finally ready for release. "Trip the life fantastic" will be available online and in stores on June 28th. Also, cee knowledge and the cosmic funk orchestra will be releasing a new 12 inch later this summer featuring crowd favorites like "jazz is", "haters" and a bonus track called "pause" featuring cash i$ and zodiac on the beats.
