HCIBD? hosts ‘Old School Concert’ to Remember the Pioneers of Hip-Hop

(Miami, FL)—From shell toe Adidas to Kangol’s, Hip-Hop has created an everlasting impact world wide especially the music. To celebrate and acknowledge those pioneers, HCIBD? and X/O Management has put together a worthwhile concert for the old and the new on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at Mansion, 1235 Washington Ave. on South Beach.

Established in Miami, FL 1993, The Peter Thomas Entertainment Group / How Can I Be Down Inc, has served as a nation wide learning and networking platform in the Hip-Hop industry. This year How Can I Be Down will take place on South Beach, July 14th-17th.

This year How Can I Be Down?  will be done in conjunction with The Hip Hop Summit Action Network.  There will be an extended weekend of informative panels that will be conducted by well established leaders of the Hip-Hop industry. Two of the numerous personalities conducting some of our panels are: Russell Simmons (who is notoriously known for his creation of the Def Jam record label) founder of the multi-million dollar Phat Farm clothing apparel, and Dame Dash (co-founder of the Roc-A-Fella record label), owner and CEO of the Dame Dash Music Group.

This monumental event is hosted by none other than Prince Markie D of the Fat Boys. Live performances by Doug E. Fresh, Slik Rik, Dania Dane, Chubb Rock, Nice & Smooth and Special Ed. Advanced tickets are on sale for $40 at 136 Collins Ave., Monday thru Friday between the hours of 11a.m. and 5p.m.  There is complimentary admission for the first one-hundred ladies.

For more information on the ‘Old School Concert’ or receiving press credentials call 305-438-9488 or e-mail http://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/.
