Palm Beach - Casting - November 5, 2005

We are in the process of casting for a trailer we’re going to film in December here in Palm Beach County Florida for a motion picture we hope to film in May/June of 2006. We will be filming only on weekends over a four to six week period. Please feel free to call with any questions. At present we are tentatively planning a casting for Saturday, November 5th, 2005. The location for which is yet to be determined, but will either be in Ft. Lauderdale or West Palm Beach.

This will be non-union and it will be no/low/deferred pay. “Rolling Thunder” is the title of the film which will be based on the novel by the same title by Florida novelist Mark Mynheir.

Here is what we’re looking for:

Male: 39-41 years of age, 6′ - 6′1″ tall, ruggedly handsome, powerful looking man, medium to bulky build. Role will be of alcoholic abusive father, and scene will be an intense scene in which this character - “Frank Russell” - murders his wife in the presence of his young son.

Male: 39 - 41 years of age, 6′ - 6′1″ tall, a Jim Caviezel type. This will be “Agent John Russell", the son of “Frank Russell” who witnessed his father murder his mother as a child. This character is of medium/athletic build. He is terrified of the sound of thunder and lightning. He is married to “Marie Russell” and has two boys. He coaches little league for his son when he’s not trying to find 10-year old missing “Dylan Jacobs". “John” is a devout Christian and seasoned police detective.

Male: 74 years of age. This is the withered and cancer ridden older “Frank Russell” who has recently been released after 33 years of prison for killing his wife. “Frank” is released early because he’s dying from cancer. His dying prayer to is to be able to see his son and ask for forgiveness. “Frank” has become a devout Christian while in prison.

Male: 30-35 years of age. Huge, bulky, big belly, good ol’ boy southern prison guard; 6′3′’ or taller.

Male (2): 45-50 years old. Fat, southern prison guard. 5′11″ - 6′1″

Male: 33 - 38 - prison guard.

Male: 30 - 38 years old. Taxi driver - black.

Female: 36-38 years of age, white, 5′5″ - 5′8″ tall, sandy brown hair, long. She used to be a natural beauty, but years of abuse has taken it out of her. She is height/weight proportionate. This character is “Lynette Russell” - and she is the one that will be murdered at the hands of her husband in the presence of her son.

Female: 35-38 years of age. White. Natural girl next door beauty - not supermodel beauty. Brunette. This is “Marie Rusell", the devoted Christian and wife of “Agent John Russell". She is height/weight proportionate. 5′6 - 5′8″ tall.

Female: Black or Latino, 28 - 35 years of age. Medium to large build. 5′3″ - 5′5″ - Prison administration.

Boy: “Brandon Russell” , eleven years of age, dark brown hair. Thin to Medium build and average height for his age. Athletic. He’s the pitcher on his little league team that his father coaches. Takes after his mother.

Boy: “Joshua Russell", younger brother of “Brandon", 6 years old. Takes after his father.
