--- Begin Message --- More about... Spirit of Kwanzaa Celebration Returns to Delight Audiences at the Caleb Center

Miami, FL—December 18, 2005–The Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association continues its tradition of educational and entertaining performances for the South Florida community with its 16th Annual Spirit of Kwanzaa celebration at The Joseph Caleb Center Auditorium on December 29 at 6:30 PM.

The theme of the event, Harambee: Celebrating Family, Community and Culture, honors the traditional values of family, community responsibility, commerce and self-improvement and is based on the African-American and Pan African spiritual festival of Kwanzaa. Through the performance of dance, song, drumming and spoken word, guest artists and performers present a multicultural celebration that focuses on Kwanzaa's seven principles of life and values. The seven principles are universal to all cultural and ethnic groups.
