BLACK HISTORY MONTH EVENTS AT MIAMI DADE COLLEGE * Mary Wilson, former member of the legendary pop group The Supremes will inspire students with her Dare to Dream motivational speech. Wilson will appear on Thursday, February 16, 11:15 a.m. at Miami Dade College's Kendall Campus, 11011 SW 104 St., McCarthy Theater, Room 6120. Other highlights include: * Media Mogul Catherine Elizabeth "Cathy" Hughes, who will discuss her keys to success on Monday, February 20th at 11 am at the Wolfson campus * First Annual Bid Whist Tournament on Saturday, February 18th from Noon - 5 p.m. Wolfson campus * Miami Blues and Jazz Festival at the North campus featuring "Old School" groups like the Dramatics; Saturday, February 25th 6-10 pm. These events are all free and open to the public, except for the Bid Whist Tournament. But the $20 entry fee goes toward scholarships for black students to attend MDC.
