Comedic royalty will grace the Parker Playhouse stage when the reigning Queen of Comedy, Sommore, appears in her first one women tour titled "The Queen Stands Alone." Her talents have earned her many alcolades including the first female host of BET's Comic View, the Richard Pryor comic of the year award in 1995 and has received praises from Oprah Winfrey who deemed her "a force to be reckoned with in the new millenium." She has appeared in films such as "Soul Plane," "A Miami Tale" and "Friday After Next". Her television appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Real Time with Bill Maher, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Hughleys and The Parkers. Be sure to catch "The Queen Stands Alone Comedy Tour". It will definately be a performance to remember and will have the audience shouting "gimmie Sommore!"
