Experience with SQL Server and COGNOS are desired. • Work with senior developers to execute development tasks and create functional internet applications, websites, and other browser-based tools. • Implement middle-layer and backend enhancements to e-commerce application designed to create functionality, improve site performance, and identify key metric points. • Willingness to learn and implement new technologies. • Follow development plan and implement/develop standards compliant code for web applications using the latest Microsoft technologies. • Create accurate time estimates and development tasks for upcoming projects, to be reviewed and validated by more senior team members. • Follow SDLC standards and procedures. • Adheres to web development standards for the development team from front-end to database-layer. • Work on multiple concurrent projects and participate in the entire software development lifecycle. • Learn and leverage industry best practices to develop applications that support the full range of leading-edge available technologies. • Create technical documentation and code comments based on industry standards. • Define and develop software unit tests and test plans based on business requirements. • Report to the CIO and provide regular input on all projects, including status and updates on a weekly basis. Job Requirements: • Bachelor or Associate's degree in computer or technical-related field • Willingness to participate in the development of search engine optimized Ecommerce experiences and web applications. • *Working understanding of a broad range of development languages and frameworks including but not limited to ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> (Web Forms, MVC), ADO.NET <http://ADO.NET>, MS SQL Server, COGNOS and web standards (XHTML, CSS, REST, XML, etc.).* * - Relational database experience (SQL Server). * *• Willingness to support and migrate legacy technologies (ASP, PHP, VB, etc.)* • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results in a timely manner. • Strong organizational skills and dedication to quality. • Must have excellent attention to detail. • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently on projects. • Willingness to handle multiple demands and competing priorities simultaneously. • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
